Ilan Waisbrod Joins PGAL As Principal Specializing In Hospitality Design
PGAL, LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Ilan Waisbrod as Principal for the firm’s Las Vegas office, joining current Principals Benjamin Girardin, AIA, Lora Hunsaker, and Donna Russell.
In this role, Ilan will draw on more than three decades of design experience, helping to expand PGAL’s presence in the hospitality market locally and across the firm.
Prior to joining PGAL, Ilan was the Founding Principal of Studio GAIA, an international hospitality design studio specializing in luxury interior design for hotels, restaurants, theaters, and casinos. Balancing modernity and comfort while creating timeless spaces, his designs span the globe.

As an award-winning interior designer, his recent notable designs include the Autograph by Marriott Hotel, White Rocks Hotel at Part Creek Habitat Preserve in Austin, TX, the W Hotel in Washington, DC, the 45 El Director in Santiago, Chile, the Ritz Carlton in Herzliya, Israel, and the SKYLOFTS at the MGM Grand Las Vegas.
A regular guest lecturer and critic at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, CA, and the School of Visual Arts in New York, NY, Ilan studied industrial and interior design at Holon Institute of Technology, Tel Aviv University, Israel, as well as architectural design at Politecnico di Milano in Milan, Italy.
