University of Houston Downtown Academic and Student Services Complex
Located on the downtown campus, the 168,000-square-foot Academic and Student Services Building blends a functionally modern, high-tech facility with its surrounding historic neighbors.
In addition to centralizing admissions, registration, business, and testing offices, the addition provides 50,000 square feet of academic classrooms and student life facilities. Program elements also include a 450-seat auditorium, 300-seat events center, Technology Teaching & Learning Center, teaching labs, health and fitness center, and food court and café.
All student services are centralized in the one-stop Student Services Center, where students can register and pay for classes, consult with an advisor, and get information all in one convenient location. The new project provides more than 50,000 square feet for student life community and University of Houston joint functions.
