Terminal B South Concourse Wins Landmark Award

The United Terminal B South Concourse project at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) walked away from the Houston Business Journal's 2015 Landmark Awards gala the winner in the Public-Private Partnership category. The new $149M concourse represents a shared commitment by the City of Houston and United to invest in capital projects integral to Houston's image as a modern hub for domestic and international commerce. Hosting 300+ regional flights per day, the new 225,000SF Concourse is four times the size of the original (built in 1966) and treats travelers to a contemporary, entertaining environment, flooded with daylight and full of conveniences.
