Pro Forma Architecture Joins PGAL

PGAL is proud to announce that Pro Forma Architecture has merged its practice with PGAL, and will continue to serve the Dallas market as PGAL.

By combining the resources of both practices, PGAL is expanding the depth and breadth of expertise that the firm will provide to its growing list of clients in the north and central Texas regions.

As part of the merger, Pro Forma Founder Jeff Bulla, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has been named principal of PGAL's Dallas office. An award-winning architect with more than 30 years of professional experience, Bulla has overseen the design and project management of numerous building projects for public and private clients.

“We are excited that Jeff and his team are joining PGAL in Dallas to strengthen and expand our practice,” said PGAL Chief Executive Officer Jeff Gerber, AIA, LEED AP. “Our firms share similar values and a mutual commitment to design quality, client service and collaboration.”

Launched by Bulla and a partner in 1999, Pro Forma Architecture specialized in designing a wide range of municipal projects, including libraries, fire and police stations, senior centers, religious facilities, performing arts centers, and other city and county facilities. The firm’s sustainability expertise includes designing the world’s second LEED Platinum® fire station: Fire Station No. 5 in Allen, Texas.

“PGAL's design reputation, quality of work and collaborative nature really appealed to me,” Bulla said. “Joining the firm will allow us to continue delivering client-focused, personalized service, but with the resources of a large, global firm.”
