Cris Ruebush Named Principal at PGAL
With a 12-year portfolio of award-winning projects for PGAL throughout Texas and nationally, Cris Ruebush, AIA, LEED AP, has been promoted to Principal. Based in PGAL's Austin office, Cris provides design, project management, construction administration and expert advisory services for public, aviation and commercial projects, including Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and its new Consolidated Rental Car Center. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture, Magna Cum Laude, University of Houston.
Cris has earned a strong reputation for simplifying complex programs while maintaining project budgets with high client satisfaction. His pragmatic approach to projects demonstrates his focused management skills which achieve measurable results on projects of all sizes.
His public assignments in Texas include design, master planning and needs assessments for numerous municipalities, including city halls, county courthouses, jails and public works.
He has worked closely with Harris County and the cities of Sugar Land, Pearland, League, Houston and Kerrville and Cedar Park where he is currently designing the Cedar Park City Hall and multiple field operations facilities.
In addition to providing expert advisory services for Austin-Bergstrom International's new Consolidated Rental Car Center, Cris has managed numerous other projects there, such as the co-location renovation for United and Continental Airlines after their merger and has provided architecture and design services for airport concessions.
His aviation and consolidated rental car facility projects have also included: George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Houston; McCarran International Airport, Atlanta; Baltimore/Washington International Airport and Louis Armstrong International Airport, New Orleans.
Other project areas have included a data center, the Meadows Hospital Medical Center and the BOTA Border Inspection Station in El Paso.
