Broward Judicial Garage Construction Underway

Construction has started on the Broward County Judicial Garage. The 6-level, 410,000 sf, 1,000-space, mixed-use parking garage in downtown Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The $23 million project includes a 240-foot bridge connecting garage and courthouse and exterior restoration of the site's 12,000 sf historic “Coca Cola Building”. Slated for completion in Fall 2014, the project is being delivered through a developer lead, design-build arrangement between PGAL and Stiles Corporation. Upon completion the garage will support Broward County's new courthouse complex that will transform the downtown skyline with a 20-story tower, 77 new court rooms with room to expand, a 500-car secure parking garage and nearly doubling the courthouse's size to 741,000 square feet.
