Harris County Flood Control District - The Hills at Greenway Regional Detention Basin at Sims Greenway

PGAL provided overall management, analysis, and design services for this 200-acre regional detention facility.

The design includes a 1,000-acre-foot detention facility that required excavation of more than 2 million cubic yards of soil. The program also features 500,000 cubic yards of special fill areas for mountain bike and hiking trail construction, as well as a major outfall weir to Sims Bayou.
