With more than 35 years of experience in architectural design and management, Ian has served as project director for numerous commercial, civic, corporate, educational, aviation, justice, hospitality, residential and mixed-use projects, with a focus on contextual design and sustainability. His diverse portfolio includes the new and expanded international Terminal 4 at Fort Lauderdale International Airport; more than 30 planning and design projects at five Florida Universities, including laboratories, academic buildings, libraries, campus housing and garages; the LEED Platinum South Florida Regional Transit Authority HQ and Garage; the mixed-use Market Station at Florida International University, with police facility, transportation department offices, food court, clinic, classrooms, and 2,000 parking spaces; a new land-based performance and rehearsal studio complex for Carnival Cruise Lines; and the U.S. Federal Courthouse in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Ian earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in architecture from Harvard University.

With more than 20 years of aviation-focused design experience, Levi has been a key contributor to the success of several significant projects at airports across the globe. His commitment to innovation and teamwork has helped him become an invaluable resource and leader within the aviation community.

Since joining PGAL, Levi has been responsible for working on and managing several aviation projects for Southwest, United, and American Airlines, most notably,  he has recently completed Terminal C North at Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport and Terminal 1.5 at Los Angeles International Airport.

Levi earned both a bachelor of Architecture and bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Houston.

As Principal and Chief Financial Officer, Beth oversees all PGAL financial activities globally. She joined the firm in 1999 and has been actively involved in integrating the firm’s financial, project, and marketing activities as well as strategizing short- and long-range business strategies with shareholders.

Beth earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas Tech University and an MBA degree with a concentration in finance from the University of Houston.

With 19 years of Civil Engineering experience, Ryan has an extensive portfolio he has leveraged to successfully lead some of the firm’s most high-profile transportation projects.  His track record of successfully delivering projects for PS&E, Schematic & Environmental, Program Management, Planning, and Construction Management has enabled him to help grow the transportation business throughout Texas.  His diverse project experience includes the management and design of multi-level interchanges, large-scale tolling freeways, multi-modal corridors, and design build facilities for clients such as TxDOT, HCTRA, METRO, and Harris County.

Ryan has a Bachelor’s of Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University and Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Houston.

A 23+ year veteran of the firm, Derron rose through the ranks as a design engineer and project manager, and became Principal of the firm’s Civil Engineering group in 2008. During that time, he has directed some of PGAL’s largest civil and transportation projects and is passionate about mentoring staff and developing and fostering strong working relationships with clients. Derron leads the firm’s transportation group, designing projects ranging from multi-level freeway interchanges and toll roads to rural and urban roadways and transit facilities. Major clients include Harris County, TxDOT, the City of Houston, METRO, and Fort Bend County. His engineering expertise, consistency in meeting challenges head-on, and solid leadership skills have resulted in high commendations from all of the clients, consultants, and contractors who have worked closely with him. 

Derron received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University and is an active member of the American Council of Engineering Companies, Associated General Contractors of America, Transportation Advocacy Group, and the North Houston Association. 

Since joining PGAL in 1997, Jeff has established a niche practice with a focus on landside aviation, rental car, vehicle maintenance, and parking facilities. Through this experience Jeff has acquired the ability to work with and through large complex programs addressing all stakeholder and consultant issues to deliver successful award winning facilities.

Jeff’s portfolio includes extensive project management within the commercial office market, including mixed-use land planning and multi-phase developments, as well as the high-tech manufacturing and data center sectors.  His project experience also includes criminal justice and juvenile justice facilities where management and appropriate implementation of complex programmatic requirements are critical to the security and success of the project.   

Jeff received a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado and a Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Texas Society of Architects, Georgia AIA, American Association of Airport Executives, Airports Council International, and Aviation Consultants Council.

Costas leads PGAL’s engineering practice, leveraging more than 35 years of hands-on practice in all aspects of transportation and development projects. His expertise includes planning, design, construction management, and program management of public and private projects for all types of infrastructure projects.

Costas has led numerous high-profile projects, including the City of Houston’s Street + Bridge Program, the McCarran International Airport Terminal 3 Departure Level Bridge structure, Section 5 of the METRO Red Line, and infrastructure for the Texas A&M University Park West development.

He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the university of Houston, and is actively involved in Associated General Contractors of America, American Consulting Engineering Council, and the Texas Good Roads Association.

With 24 years of experience, Dave has led some of the firm’s most prominent projects nationwide. His portfolio of work includes major federal, aviation, university, healthcare, correctional, residential-resort, commercial, and healthcare facilities. A strong designer and manager, Dave has been involved in such complex projects as the $1B Newark Liberty International Airport Redevelopment of Terminal A; McCarran International Airport Terminal 3 Buildings; the LEED Gold Southwest Bachelor Enlisted Quarters and Parking Garage for NAVFAC in Twentynine Palms, California; the University of Nevada-Las Vegas Advanced Dental Education Building; the Houston METRO Line Section 5 and Main Street Square; and the Baker Street Jail in Houston, Texas.

Dave earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Kansas  and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, Architect’s League of Northern New Jersey, and the Airports Council International.

Skilled in leading technically complex projects, Paul has served as Principal and Senior Project Architect for many of PGAL’s most prominent assignments. His experience includes a wide range of project types including higher education, municipal and justice facilities, data centers, retail, office buildings and parking garages.  He played a key role in the design of the Houston Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank, The University of Houston- Downtown Shea Street College of Business Building, the Fort Bend County Justice Center, the City of League City Public Safety Building, and the City of Baytown’s City Hall Expansion, EMS Station and 9-1-1 Communications and Information Services Data Center, University of Houston Fertitta Center Renovation, parking garages for Houston Methodist Hospital, and an addition to the Fort Bend County Justice Center.  He has also performed needs assessments and facility master plan services for the City of Baytown’s Police Station, City of Rosenberg, and City of Richmond.

Paul earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in architecture from Rice University. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Texas Society of Architects, and Rice Design Alliance.

Michael’s 29-year tenure at PGAL includes serving as principal and senior project manager on a diverse range of new construction and historic restoration projects. Experienced in various construction delivery systems, he is skilled in fast-track methodologies that involve multiple bid packaging and phased construction processes.

Michael's extensive and diverse portfolio of projects includes the award-winning Terminal C Modular High C Gates at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport; Grimes County Courthouse; U.S. Federal Courthouse in Ft. Pierce, Florida; United Baggage Expansion at George Bush Intercontinental Airport; Collin County Medical Service Building; Terminal F at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport; Saginaw Library + Senior Center; and the City of Cedar Hill Library, Museum, + Signature Park. 

Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental design from Texas A&M University. He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects.

With more than 20 years of experience in interior design and project management, Lora is an expert in hospitality, commercial, healthcare, and high-end residential interior design nation-wide. Her dedication to design is illustrated best through her precise management of projects from inception to installation and completion.

Lora attended Brigham Young University and is a member of the Network of Women in Hospitality group’s local chapter in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sam has more than 36 years of planning and design experience on projects within the education, civic, mixed-use, public safety, justice, and retail sectors. Recent commissions include the Master Plan for JM Family Enterprises, Florida Atlantic University Parliament Hall, and the Midtown Apartments in Gainesville, Florida.

Sam’s community involvement includes serving as a local Mayor for 29 years, chairing Seven50 (a seven county regional planning council that has created a 50-year vision for south Florida), and serving on the board of directors of the Southeast Florida Alzheimer’s Association and Wellington Regional Hospital. 

He earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Florida A&M University and master’s degree in architecture from the University of Florida.

Experienced in design, project management, construction administration, and expert advisory services, Cris has completed award-winning projects for clients in the public, aviation, higher education, and commercial sectors. He is skilled in devising practical, efficient solutions that meet project objectives and exceed client expectations.

Cris has an extensive portfolio of municipality projects, including city halls, county courthouses, jails, and public works facilities. His recent work includes the Cedar Park City Hall and multiple field operations facilities in Cedar Park, Texas; Westside Service Center in Georgetown, Texas; and Bastrop County Development Services and Tax Collector Office Building. He's also completed several aviation and parking structure projects, including the Blue Garage & Administration Building at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and the UT Austin East Campus Garage.

Cris earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Houston. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Greater San Marcos Partnership.

With more than 20 years of hands-on project experience, Pire’s extensive portfolio includes the design and management of a diverse range of projects, including those in the aviation, corporate, commercial, civic, and education sectors.As a hands-on principal, he maintains great relationships with key clients in the firm's serviced market segments. 

Ivan earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in architecture from the University of Florida and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects and the Airports Council International.

With more than 20 years of experience, Payal is an expert in the programming, planning, and design of rental car, parking, and transportation-related projects. Throughout her 18-year tenure at PGAL, she has worked on some of the most high-profile ConRAC projects including the Rental Car Facilities at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport (CVG), Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Payal is well-versed on the operational and branding requirements of rental car companies and airport authorities.

Payal received a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Southern Polytechnic University and is an active member of the American Association of Airport Executives.

With more than 35 years of architectural experience, Cheryl has been a Principal at PGAL since 2005, leading some of the firm’s most high-profile projects in the corporate, civic, aviation, criminal justice, and higher education markets. Cheryl’s dedication to client service and design excellence has been a key asset in the growth and success of the firm. 

Recent notable projects include the Harris County Joint Processing Facility and the 1910 Courthouse Restoration in downtown Houston, Texas A & M University at Galveston Seibel Student Services Center and Northen Student Center Renovation, and two multi-floor co-working office locations for a confidential client. In addition, she has completed more than two dozen projects for United Airlines, including the Terminal C project at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

Cheryl holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Houston and a bachelor’s degree in environmental design from Texas A&M University. A recipient of the “Woman on the Move” award from the Houston Chronicle, she serves on the board of the North Houston Association and is a member of CREW Houston, the Urban Land Institute, the U.S. Green Building Council, and the Rice Design Alliance.

Tim is an award-winning architect with more than 25 years of professional architectural experience on local, national, and international projects. With a focus on educational (both K-12 and higher education), federal, cultural, and civic facilities, he has completed dozens of projects of varying scope while also fostering strong client relationships as a trusted advisor throughout the south-central region including Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. Tim holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Bangalore University in India and a Master of Architecture in Urban Design and Historic Preservation from the University of Oklahoma.  He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Texas Society of Architects (TSA).

Jorge brings proven leadership skills and more than two decades of architecture and master planning experience to PGAL's Boca Raton office.

During his career, he has overseen a wide range of large, complex projects in the higher-education, mixed-use, and institutional markets.

Prior to relocating to south Florida in 2022, Jorge began his career in Canada, where his signature project work included the Nova Centre mixed-use development and Halifax Convention Center; Harmony Commons Passive House Student Residence at the University of Toronto; and campus master plans at Algoma University, Wilfrid Laurier University, and Oakland University.

Jorge earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from José Antonio Echeverría Higher Polytechnic Institute in Havana, Cuba. A Certified Passive House Designer, he serves as a volunteer for local initiatives guiding the future development of the City of Boca Raton. He also provides mentorship for architectural graduates and interns who are working toward licensure in the U.S. and Canada.

As Principal, Benjamin is involved with every project from start to finish. Over the past 20 years, he has led teams of architects and engineers, designing a wide range of projects from gaming tenant improvements to complicated medical facilities. In 2008 he founded 10 Nine Design Group, a full-service architectural firm, completing 500+ commercial projects including Public Works, Medical, Hospitality, Office, and Industrial projects. Benjamin's firm merged with PGAL in 2018, continuing to service Nevada and the Western U.S. with high-end design and technically-solid architecture with the resources of a national firm. Benjamin is a graduate of Lawrence Technical University and a member of the AIA, USGBC, NAIOP, AGC, and a founding member of the Young Professional Society of Las Vegas.

With over 24 years of professional experience, Matthew has a variety of experience ranging from design and construction of single-family residential to commercial and institutional design. Recognized widely in Southern California for his contributions to the Hospitality Design industry, Matthew, as founder of Bluemotif Architecture (2002), is the recipient of numerous design awards and accolades. Matthew’s collaborative approach to design, documentation, and construction lend to unique design solutions and mutual respect from his peers in the industry. Having  joined the PGAL family (2018), Matthew will continue to foster his guiding design philosophy, that every project presents a new opportunity to create space to be remembered.

Matthew earned a bachelor's degree in architecture and science from Ball State University.

Carl brings over 30 years of diverse experience gained throughout the Midwest and Southeast U.S., programming, designing, and managing projects of all sizes and budgets in a variety of sectors including: university, performing arts, medical and corporate office buildings, and religious facilities.

Carl holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design, both from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and founded and lead his own boutique design firm from 2000 to 2014 in Southern Indiana.

Jack Linville has been instrumental in developing the firm as a national practice. Over the past 30+ years Linville has acquired a national reputation as an urban planner with particular expertise in innovative land use solutions to complex urban problems. Previously, he held the dual position as Director of Land Use and Land Planning Research at the Rice Center for Community Design and Associate Professor of Architecture and Planning at Rice University. During that time, he led the planning and design team on over two dozen innovative urban research projects, including the overall transportation plan that led to the creation of Houston's Metropolitan Transit Authority (METRO). Subsequently, he served as a Board Member and Chairman of the Futures Committee of METRO, where he was responsible for developing the transit authority's comprehensive transportation plan. During the 1970s, Linville served as deputy executive director and director of research for the American Institute of Planners, the national professional organization for urban planners.

Luis has more than 18 years of experience in civil engineering for transportation projects throughout Texas. He has successfully delivered a broad range of projects ranging from rural highway widenings to urban freeway reconstructions, for various clients including TxDOT, toll road authorities, counties, and municipalities. His technical expertise in various design disciplines allows him to effectively manage project teams, even on the most complex projects. He is experienced in all phases of the transportation project development process, and is known for delivering high quality deliverables that exceed his client’s expectations.

Luis has a Bachelor’s of Science from Texas A&M University and is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers – Houston Branch, having previously served in multiple volunteer positions including President on its Board of Directors in 2018.

Currently the managing principal of PGAL’s Denver office, Scott has 28 years of experience on a wide array of projects and project types across the country.  He has spent the last 17 years on some of the firms most challenging projects, from design through construction, concentrating on Aviation, Higher Education, Emergency Operations / Mission Critical, Commercial, Interiors, Civic / Culture, and Renovation in private and public sectors.  

Scott, a native Houstonian, received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Houston, is a licensed architect and interior design, an Eagle Scout, Life Member of the National Eagle Scout Associate, and passionate about Texas BBQ, UH sports, skiing, Weimaraner’s, and volunteering with the Mile High Weimaraner Rescue.

As Principal, Queen oversees all PGAL accounting and IT functions. She joined the firm in 1997 and has been actively involved in integrating the firm’s financial, project, and marketing activities as well as strategizing short- and long-range business strategies with shareholders.

Queen earned both a bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and MBA from Texas Southern University.

With more than 30 years of diverse project experience throughout the U.S. and abroad, Ken specializes in the design and management of aviation and other civic projects.

Recent assignments includes serving as Lead Designer and Project Director for the $2B Redevelopment of Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport, Design Director for the $1B Redevelopment Program at Reagan Washington National Airport and Design Principal at Los Angeles International Airport for the Terminal 1 Modernization Program. Ken previously led the PGAL aviation Team in the successful delivery of the $2B new Terminal 3 at McCarran International Airport and the new International Arrivals Building at George Bush Intercontinental Airport. 

Ken earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Architecture from the University of Virginia and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects.

As Principal and Director of Human Resources, Sharon leads PGAL’s HR team and oversees many of the administrative functions. Having joined the firm in 1990, Sharon wears many hats and has been instrumental in PGAL’s culture, growth, and expansion. She is the go-to person for every department at every level as a trusted advisor and is widely known as the “company mom.”

Sharon is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management, HR Houston, and the California Chamber of Commerce. She is also active with the North Houston Association, serving as a long-time committee member and volunteer for their annual golf tournament.

With more than 25 years of design and project management experience, Diana has successfully led some of the firm’s most high-profile aviation projects including Las Vegas McCarran Airport Terminal 3, Los Angeles International Airport Terminal 1 Modernization Program, and the renovation of Los Angeles International Airport Terminals 4 and 5. Her hands-on leadership style and involvement with all aspects of the design and construction process enable her to build consensus in the most challenging, fast-track environments with strengths that include client development, project control, and consultant management.

Diana has a Bachelor’s of Architecture degree from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario in Canada.

Prior to joining PGAL, Ilan was the Founding Principal of Studio GAIA, an international hospitality design studio specializing in luxury interior design for hotels, restaurants, theaters, and casinos.  Balancing modernity and comfort while creating timeless paces, his designs span the globe. As an award-winning interior designer, his recent notable designs include the Autograph by Marriott Hotel, White Rocks Hotel at Part Creek Habitat Preserve in Austin, TX, the W Hotel in Washington, DC, the 45 El Director in Santiago, Chile, and the Ritz Carlton in Herzliya, Israel, and the SKYLOFTS at the MGM Grand Las Vegas. 

A regular guest lecturer and critic at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, CA, and the School of Visual Arts in New York, NY, Ilan studied industrial and interior design at Holon Institute of Technology, Tel Aviv University, Israel, as well as architectural design at Politecnico di Milano in Milan, Italy.

A graduate of the New Jersey School of Architecture, Eric has more than 25 years of experience serving clients as architect, principal, planner, and designer. With an acute attention to detail and client-focused service, he has an impressive track record of successfully meeting project budget, schedule, and quality expectations. With a specialization in higher education, Eric has directed the visioning and programming for master planning and design projects across Texas, including urban design, regional planning, hazardous material remediation, and interior design. His experience also includes directing multidisciplinary teams in the assessment of over 300 million square feet of physical assets and feasibility, mitigation, and scope alignment studies at campuses across the country to help shape clients’ short and long term goals.

Greg Mullin joined PGAL in 2016 as Principal of the Atlanta office. He has more than 20 years of project experience across a range of markets and building types, including education, residential, and mixed-use developments andis dedicated to design and operational excellence, client service, and team collaboration. He received a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Virginia, a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Texas at Austin, and an MBA degree from Georgia State University. Greg serves on the Board and is a member of the Executive Committee as Treasurer of AIA Atlanta. He earned the 2009  AIA Atlanta Emerging Voices in Architecture Award.

Since joining PGAL in 2002 as Director of Business Development, Donna has become a key individual in the planning of new business pursuits for some of PGAL’s most high-profile projects, delivering more than $6 billion in new design and construction across the country.   

Her strategic goals, objectives, and expertise have led to the firm’s exponential growth and top position in the aviation and consolidated rental car facility markets nationally. In addition, she incorporated strategies for the establishment of the firm in Southern Nevada, leading to over $2 billion in new project development from the public and private sector markets as well as emerging opportunities with Federal Solicitations.

Donna earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality Management from New Hampshire College (currently known as Southern New Hampshire University) and is an active participant in NAIOP, Airports Council International, and American Association of Aviation Executives. 

As CEO, Jeff leads PGAL’s overall strategic vision and direction. A 30-year veteran of the firm, he actively contributes to projects coast-to-coast, working closely with teams from the firm’s 13 offices. 

Through his 40-year career, Jeff has evolved a highly-collaborative and client service-oriented process that works to ensure the success of projects ranging from single facility assessments to $1 billion+ ground-up projects.

Jeff earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Tennessee. He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, Urban Land Institute, and Texas Society of Architects.
