Terminal-Wide Advertising Fixture Program At Washington Dulles International Airport

PGAL is currently providing design, construction documentation and construction administration services for the multi-phased Terminal-Wide Advertising Fixture Program at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) .

The program has been divided into five phases which includes the installation of large format non-illuminated static signage, illuminated static signage, large format digital signage, video walls, courtesy phones, and charging stations. PGAL is coordinating the architectural design and detailing with the Clear Channel Airports design, engineering and digital media departments and, in association with the Clear Channel Airports team, will oversee installation of the fixtures at IAD.

The dynamic advertising displays and interactive directories have been designed and positioned to provide convenience and visual interest for passengers while respecting the historic Main Terminal and the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority’s Design Manual standards. The proposed integrated advertising elements complement the architecture of the existing terminal and concourse facilities while enhancing the passenger experience and unifying the airport campus at IAD.
