City of Liberty Police Station
After its police station was destroyed during Hurricane Ike, the City of Liberty hired PGAL to plan and design a state-of-the-art facility that fits aesthetically with the nearby fire department building.
The new 10,000-square-foot facility houses traditional offices spaces, a squad room, a secure lobby, a receiving room, an interview room, an evidence processing room and vault, and a secure dispatch office.
A multitude of storage spaces are available, including a property and records room and a secure equipment room for 9-1-1 and other computer and telecommunications equipment. The space also houses a kitchen, multiple offices, a locker room, and training and conference spaces for Liberty Police Department staff.
Site design included grading, paving, utilities, detention for the complete site, storm sewer drainage, and a secured storage lot for police department.
