Balmoral Crystal Clear Lagoon + Amenity Village Wins 2020 Star Award
The Texas Association of Builders (TAB) announced the 2020 Star Awards winners on July 23, 2020.
The record setting 614 entries included projects across Texas and were judged by Aaron Crowe (Simpson Strong– Tie/Benton, Ark.), Gretchen Palmer (PHG Development/Scottsdale, Ariz.) and Bill Sager (Sager Family Homes/Tacoma, Wash.).
Among the winning projects was Land Tejas’ Balmoral Crystal Clear Lagoon + Amenity Village (completed in 2018) in Humble, Texas. Designed by PGAL and landscape architects KGA Deforest Design, the project was awarded Best Community Amenity. The two-acre lagoon and amenity village include a luxury clubhouse, white sand beaches, and infinity-edge pool.
Launched in 1992, the Star Awards are the only statewide tribute to excellence in the homebuilding industry. The annual competition showcased the outstanding work of builders, remodelers, architects, designers, and sales, marketing, and construction professionals in Texas.
