PGAL Alexandria Employees Volunteer with Rebuilding Together Alexandria

A team of PGAL Alexandria employees volunteered their Saturday morning to weatherize + make energy efficient repairs to the homes of 20 in-need Alexandria residents during Energize Alexandria with Rebuilding Together Alexandria.

Rebuilding Together Alexandria preserves affordable homeownership and revitalizes the Alexandria community by providing free home repairs and modifications through the help of funders and volunteers like the PGAL team. These services provide critical assistance to those residents in the Alexandria, Virginia community living near the poverty threshold, making it difficult for them to pay for home maintenance and much needed medicine or food. Since 1986, Rebuilding Together Alexandria has kept in-need residents, including elderly, disabled, veterans, and families with children, in safe and healthy homes.

Each of PGAL’s regional offices is undertaking a community service project as part of PGAL’s ongoing 70th anniversary initiative to give back to the local communities that have supported the firm for over seven decades. #PGAL70
